I have eaten here twice in the last month. Dinner price for AYCE Wagyu- no question is worth it. Their presentation with dry ice on the gold bull is awesome. Our favorite side is the claypot wagyu fried rice . All appetizers and sides are also AYCE! We travel from SF just to eat here and I promise it's worth it.

Came here to celebrate my father's birthday and it was a huge success! I've only tried this cooking concept at one other place in South SF and so glad they have this closer to home. For a family of 6, we ordered over 10 items which was more than enough food but it was mainly because we wanted to try as many different options as possible. We tried a handful of seafood items ranging from oysters, shrimp, geoduck, abalone, clams and must say everything was super fresh! Even the fish and chicken were tasty. There's a designated server who helps with getting the dishes into the steam pot and setting the timer to ensure each item is cooked perfectly. The best part is the juices from the steamed dishes drips down into the bottom pot that gets turned into a porridge at the end. That was actually my favorite part because the porridge was so rich in flavor! There's a bar in the back to get your sauces, sides, and fruits. Service was super fast and attentive. The music and ambience here is great for large groups.

I had a group lunch here and we all got the all you can eat bbq option for around $30. The quality of food is okay. It's not like you're at Mikiya getting AYCE wagyu, but it's fine. They also give you sauces, AND there's a sauce bar (I love sauce bars), so if you think of the food as a blank canvas you'll be off to a good start. From a value perspective, I think this restaurant really shines. For $30, where are you going to eat as much food, grilled at your table, with whatever sauces you want? The answer is pretty much just here, at least in this area. Inside it's kind of typical modern KBBQ style, very dark with moody lighting. We sat on some giant barstools that were too tall for the table, leading to a bit of a hunched over eating experience. If the stools were just a few inches shorter it would be more pleasant. They allow you to order quite a few plates per person, and the service is fast enough. I never, ever felt like they were going slow to make us fill up. It wasn't quite matching the frenetic pace of Mikiya, where I think the servers are entertained by people trying to shovel wagyu as fast as possible, but it was fast enough that we never ran out of food to cook. If you're looking for a good value lunch spot with a decent selection of items I think Xian Steam Pot & Yakiniku is more than acceptable.

Xian Steam Pot & Yakiniku in Milpitas has become a #fantastic spot for an all-you-can-eat experience! They offer a variety of premium meats, including Japanese A5 Wagyu, Australian M9 Wagyu, and premium US Wagyu1. The restaurant is known for its modern decor and unique presentation, including the golden cow tower. Their menu has two tiers: a regular option at $50 and a premium option at $70. They also have a weekday lunch special for $281. The meat is described as incredibly tender, practically melting in your mouth. Service is great and attentive, food came out very fast. Have you had a chance to try their lunch special yet?

This review is for my Yakiniku experience. Located in the busy plaza of great restaurants with plenty of parking spots. Holy cow! The interior was very cool with the neon lights. I felt like I was in a futuristic aquarium. My friend and I got the dinner premium ($69.95/person) and thought it was well worth it! We got the golden cow which came with an order of Japanese miyazaki gyu A5, Australian gold line, & US gold line. SO FREAKING GOOD! it was melt-in-your-mouth soft. Andrew was a great host and server. Very attentive and made sure we were well taken care of. Great service, food, & atmosphere. Perfect for large groups & special occasions. You can't go wrong with some AYCE wagyu & seafood. I liked the kiwi kawaii a tad bit more than the milpitas margarita. I liked the Wagyu sasa, Wagyu brisket, and Wagyu chuck eye. So flavorful and cooks quickly. I can see myself coming back for another special occasion!

I've been to almost every all-you-can-eat BBQ spot in the Bay Area, Xian is your GO TO spot for a SEA FOOD ALL YOU CAN EAT FOOD experience! The regular menu tier at Xian is the best value. I debated upgrading to the premium tier, but to be honest, I went the day before and already experienced it! The extra $25 for an additional slab of A5 and steamed egg was the highlight of the premium but the regular was just right. The quality of the meats blew me away. The wagyu tongue, pork jowl, and wagyu brisket were incredibly fresh and flavorful. These quickly became my favorites, but DONT SLEEP on the Wagyu House Steak--it's a rare find that you absolutely need to try!!! Now, let's talk seafood. Xian's seafood options are a game-changer. The shrimp and octopus were some of the freshest I've ever had at any all-you-can-eat spot, and they completely set the BAR. Nori and Andrew were really helpful and accomodating, so shout out to them! The atmosphere is really bougie, great for dates, groups, watching sports, and families. Overall, Xian is a must-visit if you're a AYCE BBQ lover.

We came for the AYCE yakiniku and it did not disappoint! They have two menus - regular or premium. Only go for the premium if you want their steamed oysters, otherwise, it's not really worth the $20 upcharge. They limit 1 order per person for the quality meats (gold line wagyu, A5, and scallops) which sucks because they're so dang good! The scallops are sushi grade so you can grill or eat raw. I highly recommend going for it raw because the scallops are so fresh, sweet and juicy. These premium items come out of a beautiful stone cow, looove the presentation! TBH it looked bigger in pics, but that's okay. The aisles are narrow though, so our cart with our cow kept getting bumped. The stone grill takes about 15-20 min to heat up, so when your meat comes out, do not throw anything on the grill yet. The server will be back to butter it up and explain the cooking process for you. They only help you with the first few cuts of meat, and they will only keep the stone grill at your table for a little while so use it while you can ! After that, it's just regular grills which they will regularly change out. The steamed oysters are good! Just make sure you order early, because it takes a while to come out. They're big, so don't over do it the way you would a raw oyster. Pro tip - they do have a sauce bar so you can amp up your oysters and meats even more! I like to do a scoop of sesame sauce, 3 scoops of ponzu, a half scoop of sate, hoisin, garlic, and a ton of green onion and cilantro, with a dash of chopped chili peppers. I promise you, this will be great over oysters and as a dip for your grilled meats. The sauce bar also has some random sides like fruit and cucumber salad. This is a refreshing addition to accompany the meal. We did not like the bulgogis (spicy or not), and we didn't bother to even try chicken. We had every cut of beef they offered and the short ribs were my fav. But to be fair, they're always my fav. The sasa and chuck are pretty lean and dry, not my jam. But I did like the house cut and the brisket. The tongue isn't for me, but if you normally like tongue, maybe this is more for you. We also had the spicy pork belly and it wasn't spicy at all. I did like that it was a thicker cut meat, which paired well inside a lettuce wrap. The shrimps were also nice and thick with no shells to mess with! They do have banchan but its just small dishes of kimchi, cucumber, pickle radish slices and corn cheese. You can order more of these! We didn't have any thing on the apps menu other than the shrimp tempura (mid) and the wagyu clay pot rice, because none of the other apps we ordered came. We were pretty full anyways, but still disappointing items ordered didn't show. Our server was hustling so we don't blame her at all, and we were pretty full after all the rounds of meat came. The clay pot rice is good.. but it is heavy. I would get it again to share if we had more people but for two, it's a large portion. Because they do steam pots, the floors are wet af and slippery. I almost died in my heels and could not walk alone. Just a word of caution! I'd def be back but might just stick with the regular dinner menu this time around unless I'm really in the mood for oysters.
